Begun over a hundred years ago, the Evangelical Covenant denomination is composed of over 900 congregations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Our tradition emphasizes the building of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ stressing worship, prayer, teaching & studying of the Scriptures, conversion, and social justice & compassion for our local and worldwide communities.

Rather than identifying with a specific creed, worship style, political affiliation, or set of doctrines, what unites us is our shared faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Although our congregations are autonomous (each calls its own pastors, owns its own property, and decides how its money is spent), we support life-impacting denominational ministries of church planting, justice, and compassion on five continents of the world.
