for 2 1/2 year olds
We run this program as a separate entity from our preschool. The Mustard Seed Christian Cooperative Program is a program in and of itself, with different policies, fees, and procedures. The Mustard Seed Christian Cooperative Program has parents and teachers working together as a team to create a wonderful environment in which our children can thrive. Parental involvement is vital to the success of our program and allows more involvement in the program than in the Private Preschool level, which is wonderful for this age group as they are all transitioning into a school setting. Mustard Seed Christian Cooperative Program Goals:
At Mustard Seed Cooperative Program, our goal is to help children develop skills necessary for success at Mustard Seed Christian Cooperative Program while learning in a safe, nurturing, Christ- centered environment. In the pursuit of this goal, we provide quality hands-on learning experiences and education in the fields of Art, Music, Literature, Science, Math, and Christian Character. We are committed to: Instructing each child in the knowledge of and faith in Jesus Christ. Teaching each student how to put into practice the basic tenets of Biblical Christian principles. Providing a school experience that is stimulating, secure and respectful. Offering a variety of practical life, hands-on learning experiences. Encouraging each child’s natural inquisitiveness and desire to learn. Promoting positive social interactions. Developing each child’s positive self-image, independence, and potential at a pace that is appropriate to the child’s age and maturity. Offering a supportive place for parents to seek and suggest ideas that enhance our relationships with their children. The Monkeys meet Mondays from 9-11:30. If the class is full and there is a waitlist, we will open up another class that will be Fridays at the same time. If and when that happens, you are more than welcome to register for both days if you feel your child is ready. One family is assigned per week to bring a healthy snack and be the Parent Teacher in the classroom. This is done on a rotating basis, based on the number of enrolled students. |
